From Water to Wine

Enough is enough. I cannot live like this any longer. It's time for self-transformation.Within your spirit, these are the words spoken with urgency. This isn't co-incidence that you're reading what is written; it's divine appointment. To experience the fullness of divinely controlled self-transformation, there's a prerequisite requirement that must be embraced; along with divine understanding of why thou has come to this point.

The first step of God's process of self- transformation is giving your life unto him. You cannot lose with Jesus on your side. He knows your pain, sorrows, frustration and whatever you may be going through at this present time in your life. And guess what. He WANTS to make it all better, but you have to let him in. God loves you more than you know; inspite of what you've done or what's going on in your life. He's knocking at the door of your heart. Let him in. All you have to say is; Lord, I'm a sinner, and I need you right now. What's going on in my life hurts. Lord, I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins. Lord, I repent of all my sins(be specific), and I'm asking for forgiveness. Lord, change me..., heal me..., and deliver me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Accomplishing this step, positions your heart in a condition of willingness. This is the condition God transforms you and everything that abides in your circumference of existence. For transformation to occur, a reason for transformation must exist. Study the following equation.

[Event/Events of suffering + Feelings connected to the suffering = Internal burden]

[Internal burden + Feelings of enough is enough = God saying, It's time for self-transformation]

Let's move on to step 2.

When Jesus performed his first miracle of changing the water into wine; he didn't change the vessel; he changed the substance within the vessel. Romans 12:2 says, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed ;by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect, will of God.The spirit-mind collaborative inner activity is the substance God desires to transform. In transforming the substance, God focuses on the root of the substance. The root of mankind is one's belief system. Study the following equation.

Human Existence Order Of Operations

[Belief System + Perception + Thoughts/Attitudes + -Actions = Results]

One's belief system plays a integral role in regards to character development; and character is what God transforms from ineffective to effective. Read the following example.

Ex. Along with my entrepreneurial aspirations, I desire to become a successful Inspirational recording artist. Music is my first love. I never made it to the big stage as of yet; not because of my ability, but because of a faulty belief embedded within.

Faulty belief-----Anything that doesn't come easy or fast enough that means I truly don't have the desire for what I'm trying to accomplish. The result of this faulty belief is lack of persistence and inconsistency. The root of this faulty belief is impatience, and impatience kills desire. God has and still is developing patience within me. By the way; Eric Jupiter coming soon!!!!!!!

Final thought. Internal self-transformation transforms external circumstances.

Is it God's idea...

Atttttentiooooooooon! So, Warrior of Christ you're on fire for Jesus. Good! The anticipation of our Father in Heaven using you in a mighty way excites every ounce of your existence; but there's a problem. You're unsure of the idea floating around in that wonderfully made mind of yours. Is this Satan trying to distract me or is it God's idea bounces back and forth in your mind. This agonizing feeling of uncertainity will not subside until it's confronted. Warrior of Christ, the forthcoming words will bring to light what your spirit desperately desires to know. There are three main elements to pay close attention to when it comes to discerning whether or not the idea your mind is considering executing is God-inspired.

Element#1------- Sacrifice self to benefit all

John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. His experience of horrific physical suffering was for all of humanity's internal well being. This should be the main element you base the idea upon. A God inspired idea focuses on the recipient; not you. Furthermore, it promotes the spirit of giving and service.

Element#2------- Solves a humanity focused problem

John 1:29 declares, The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold The Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Sin is what separates humanity from God; and of course, God recognized this. So what does God do; his spirit became flesh(Jesus) so we could have a living example of how to conduct ourselves on earth. Jesus was the solution to reconciling humanity back unto God. God inspired ideas embodies the word transformation.

Element#3------- Cannot be accomplished alone

When Jesus fed the multitude(hint-outreach ministry) not only were his disciples involved; a young boy supplied five barley loaves and two small fish to join in on the outreach efforts(see John 6:6-13). God will send and assign support for the idea given unto you.

If these elements abide in the idea, then yes, it's a God idea. And when god gives an idea, it's given so it can be executed. Warrior of Christ, take that leap of faith.

Lord, use me as thy will...

AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate experiencing writer's block. I'm frustrated to the point of eliminating this blog and it's only been in existence for three days. Excuse my ADHD; becoming easily frustrated comes with the territory. Moving right along...

I've reached a place in my walk with Christ that when the storm of frustration is raging within me; that's my cue to pray. " Lord what do you want me to write", I cried out. As I became still, he lead me to research how to write a blog. The statement of a blog is a personal diary intensified its presence in my mind. Then the spontaneous thought occurred. THE GARDEN is about personal testimonies of walking with Christ, so write from the heart. Yes Lord...

Last night, one of my facebook friends posted a post on my wall explaining how she looks forward to the God-inspired posts posted by me. My spirit was humbled beyond measure. Almost in tears, I thanked God and openly admitted that I was unworthy of such praise.

As my mind pondered on the events leading up to this point; divine revelation was granted unto me. When God confirms the assignment you've been commanded to undertake is making a difference for his glory; eternal significance will encompass thou spirit. Suffering for the greater good of all is worth enduring and brings pleasure unto Our Father in Heaven. Lord, use me as thy will...

This too shall pass...

So adversity has come upon you. It's frustrating isn't it. So, now what. Waddling in frustration will get you  nowhere. As a matter of fact, you should be thanking Jesus. Adversity will come and go throughout your entire existence. How you spiritually and mentally engage this season of adversity, determines how you'll come out. Here are some fundamental principles on how to think positive in the midst of a storm.

For you to think positive during this seasom of circumstantial downpouring, you must divinely understand why adversity is allowed. Adversity builds character! Effective character traits are developed through uncomfortable situations;not comfortable ones. Once again, you should be thanking Jesus. He thought enough about you, to place you in a season of adversity(growth!!!) so he can bestow the blessings that belong to you. But first, you must learn how to think positive. Read on.

  • Your perception of the adversity determines the degree of internal anguish.
  • Seek and find the positive within the storm and focus your thoughts on those things.
  • Your attitude towards adversity determines the element of your thoughts
  • Being thankful increases positive thinking
Simple isn't it. Now try it. Apply what you've just read and you'll begin walking in the This too shall pass mindset.
